The local Landhotel offers fine cuisine and a sun terrace overlooking the valley of the river Isar. The nearest supermarkets are located in Ebenhausen and Wolfratshausen and can be reached in only a few minutes by car.

Also a daycare center, a kindergarten/preschool, a primary school, and a secondary school can be found in Icking. The private secondary school Günther Stöhr is situated in neighbouring Ebenhausen. The Munich International School (MIS) in Starnberg-Percha can also easily be reached from here.
